Jimi is accepting students of all levels from Beginner to Advanced, we can come up with a lesson plan that works for you. Whether it’s basic snare drum techniques, percussion for school band, or advanced drum set covering any style you desire.  It depends what YOU want.  Even if ALL you want to learn are some fun beats on drum set, we can do that too.

  • ​We cover all aspects of studio drumming:
  • Tuning drums
  • Playing with a click track and loops
  • Finding the right drum part
  • Microphone placement
  • Actually recording YOUR drumming at my home studio!
  • Learn Protools too!
  • Analyze your playing, this is a big help!
  • Record drum parts from your favorite band. 
  • Record great sounding drum clips for YOUTUBE
  • PERCUSSION:  I can teach you a variety of percussion.  As a studio drummer I've found that knowing how to play percussion can really add value as a player.  Even if it's just knowing how to play a proper shaker or tambourine part, it can really help a song.
